Where it all began

Joia Ristorante opened in 1997 and has established itself as a premiere fine dining Italian restaurant and wine bar in Aurora, Ontario. Owners, Marco and Eugenio offer only the finest in house made Italian ingredients. Marco and Eugenio travel to Italy frequently in order to enhance their menu with authentic Italian cuisine.

At Joia, we are all about Italian food. Local ingredients. From-scratch recipes. Inspired daily specials. We figured if people wanted to go out to a real Italian restaurant in Aurora they didn’t want to cut corners or leave thinking they could’ve made it at home.

We’re wine lovers.

Well, who isn’t? We pride ourselves on our precise palettes and…let’s face it, we just love great wine. Travelling the vineyards of Italy, learning from sommeliers and vintners, keeping nothing but the best in our cellar to offer our guests is one of the best parts of the restaurant business.
